The original anime series was absolutely amazing, and I loved the 3 films, too. Sometimes fans can veer into being toxic with comments that are just extreme appreciation for the new thing while totally dismissing the old thing. There's no harm in honoring the stuff that was really made with love (not the Netflix stuff). I love that Studio ECLYPSE is recapturing that feeling from The Golden Age adaptations, and using it for this arc. Honoring the old skool while pushing ahead, that's the way to do it!

The whole trailer looks great, but the scene with Casca and the music genuinely made me tear up. The first half of the trailer shows the dark, violent figure of Guts the Black Swordsman, while the second half reveals his other side--a man full of sorrow and pain, who misses his lover. It hurts in the best way, and really shows an understanding of the emotional core of the story. Thank you all for your hard work. Please take the time you need to, both for the project and the wellbeing of those working on it. I look forward to the final release, as do many others. Sincerely, thank you.
